On northeastern coast of the main island of Langkawi, the famous Hole in the Wall whose entrance is a gap between the towering cliffs and the mangroves, which opens to form a spectacular, large, enclosed, circular anchorage. Exploring the many mangrove creeks and limestone caves by dinghy is a must.
The nearby Butang archipelago features approximately 50 spectacular, mostly uninhabited islands. Located in neighboring Thailand, these islands form part of the Tarutao National Marine Park.
